Some ideas take time.
Jaewon began with a simple idea. One that had been quietly growing for years. Originally named after my oldest, over time it came to represent the identity of both my children, Owen Jaewon & Olivia Jiyoon - their Korean roots, their English heritage and the unique space that is shared between both. As life got busy, the everyday moments meant the idea of Jaewon had to wait. But it never went away. Years later, I came back with a clearer sense of what I wanted Jaewon to represent: timeless clothing rooted in culture, creating our own unique stories, lived through the pieces we wear everyday.
Jaewon is not just dedicated to the lineage of my children, but to everyone who is navigating their own journey between cultures, identities and the places we call home. It's about where we come from, who we are and who we're becoming.
Because life is lived in the moments we have today, while leaving something meaningful for tomorrow.
